Westgate pupils are first in the world to crack the Alan Turing Cryptography Competition!

Organised by the Dept of Mathematics at the University of Manchester, the competition is aimed at secondary school children who need to break the code as quickly as possible. This year, the competition opened on 13th January at 4pm (GMT) and Westgate pupils Sam L & Anthony M solved it after only 80 seconds!
