A generous donation of £5,000 to Westgate PSA from Winchester-based property developer Gentian, has brought fresh energy to the school's sports equipment with the purchase of new basketball hoops, football goal posts and new balls for both sports. Aiden Murray, Planning Director, Gentian, and The Westgate School Head Boy Laurence H tried out the new basketball hoops and goalposts.
Thanking Gentian for their support, Charlie Damant, Chair of the PSA, told them the new equipment "has transformed our break and lunchtimes" as the old ones were in need of an upgrade. "We would like to thank Gentian for their generous sponsorship. We are very lucky."
The Westgate PSA fundraises to support projects to advance the education and support the well-being of pupils all-through the school.
