Pupils from Year 10 had the opportunity to explore a wide range of apprenticeship options at our annual Apprenticeship Fair. Representatives from local colleges and national businesses came along to promote their apprenticeship schemes, including the British Army, South Central Ambulance Service, Sparsholt College, the NHS, JP Morgan, and RingGo. This direct interaction with industry professionals helps our pupils understand the diverse opportunities available to them post-16.
At The Westgate School, we are committed to a careers curriculum which aims to excite and motivate pupils' curiosity about different career options, challenge stereotyping and inspire pupils to unlock their potential. We are excited to invite all pupils and parents/carers to our annual Careers Fair Evening on Thursday 6th March, which will be a fantastic opportunity to explore different career paths together and gain information to support future aspirations.
