Our Food Preparation and Nutrition Year 9 & 10 pupils have been learning about how to prepare, cook and eat fish. As one of the 200 schools lucky enough to have been selected by #FishHeroes to receive 10 kilograms of rope-grown mussels, our pupils rustled up tasty and nutritious dishes, using the sustainable produce.
Pupil T commented that "I'd never previously cooked or eaten mussels but I would definately do it again", whilst Pupil A "was surprised how quick and easy they were to make and really enjoyed eating them". Well done to all who took part and challenged themselves to try something new!
