🌟 We are thrilled to announce that our Year 7 to Year 9 drama production in June will be Matilda the Musical Junior! There will be plenty of ways to participate, including performing, singing, technical and backstage support. An audition meeting will be held on Friday 17th January after school, with auditions starting on Monday 20th. 🎶
If drama is not a passion, there are over 50 clubs available at Westgate to enrich our pupils’ experience and embody our ethos of participation. Whether your child is into debating, charity work, sports, drama, chess, sci-fi, or one of our 14 music clubs, there’s something for everyone!
Participation in clubs earns merits in The Westgate Community Challenge, an inter-house scheme modelled on the Duke of Edinburgh award. Some clubs have year group restrictions or external costs, but teacher-run clubs are free and scheduled conveniently.
