We are proud that “Pupils’ behaviour is exemplary” and “Relationships between staff and pupils are remarkably positive”.
The report notes that “pupils achieve exceptionally well” and in last year’s GCSE results, a progress 8 score of 0.89 was achieved with 43% of all grades being 7-9.
The exceptional outcomes achieved by pupils in The Westgate School are reflected in the overall attainment, which was the highest of all state schools in Hampshire, and is in the top 7% of all schools nationally.
