Physical Education
To inspire pupils to discover a lifelong love of sport and exercise
Our PE curriculum intends to allow pupils to:
Experience as many sports as possible to find those which will develop a lifelong love of sport.
Have the opportunity to participate within our school community in a wide range of extracurricular activities.
Develop the skills and aptitudes needed to excel.
Why Learn PE?
A high-quality physical education curriculum inspires all pupils to succeed and excel in competitive sport and other physically demanding activities. It will provide opportunities for pupils to become physically confident in a way which supports their health and fitness. Opportunities to compete in sport and other activities build character and help to embed values such as fairness and respect.
.
PE is taught as a discrete subject from Year R. We provide additional teaching resources form Year 3 transitioning into specialist PE provision using our full facilities from Year 4.
